Steve Stubblefield and his critically acclaimed Starlings, TN returns with "How Dark It Is Before The Dawn", a new collection of stripped down gems. With the exception of Bogalusa, LA's The Petty Bones, Stubblefield recorded and played all instruments at his home in Hattiesburg, MS. The album reflects Stubblefield's dark moments and hints at a creative rebirth and return to the Starlings' prolific output during the 2000s.
